Has anyone actually made the Crusoe socks from Knitty?  I’m nearly to where I think the toe decreases should begin, but the pattern says:
“Continue working in rounds until foot from back of heel measures 9 inches.”
Then it has you decrease 4 stitches every other round until you’re at 22(24) -from an original 44(48), then 4 [...]

OK, I have cast on the Straight-laced socks 4 times now, and ripped them out 3 times. First with 60 stitches on size 2’s (they call for 60 on 3’s, but there’s no way this LL would look any good on needles that big), then with 68 on 1’s (too small), with 72 on [...]
