OK, that’s a little misleading.  I did finish 2 socks today, but neither of them were started today.  These 2 were the main things standing between me and all of my new Lorna’s Laces sock yarn.  Until now, I have not even allowed myself to wind it, because I knew if I did, these socks would NEVER get finished.  I have no self-control, I admit it.  Today I had some good quality in-the-car, knitting time (no, I wasn’t driving), and I finished up Fixation sock #2 and Regia 4-ply sock #2.  The Fixation socks have a short-row heel and toe, which I’ll admit are growing on me.  The Regia socks have been described by Hayley as “mesmerizing”.  I loved the yarn and sample sock in the store, but have not been so in love with them while making them.  They’re kind of scratchy, and after awhile, it gets hard to look at that yarn!  I haven’t yet decided what to do with the LL, but since I have something like 5 pairs’ worth, I’m sure I can try some different things.  I’m off to wind!  Now to decide which to do first…
