1. The Addis - they have not turned up.  Anyone have a metal detector?  I promise my house is not so much of a wreck that I can’t find knitting needles.  Thanks to the Queen for the suggestion that perhaps they were around my neck - I checked, they’re not.

2. The Kids - they’re home.  They spent a week with Grandma, visiting the Mall of America, Great-Grandma, and assorted other stuff.  They almost missed their connecting flight home - one set of luggage made it, the other set (with the prom dress) did not, but arrived by 10:00 or so that night.

3. The Trip - we had a fabulous visit to Savannah and Charleston.  We met MINI bloggers in Savannah (hey Murray, Alison, and Stephanie!) for dinner on Tybee Island, we shopped, we visited yarn stores (Red Needle - skip it, Wild Fibre - oh my goodness!, Knit in Charleston - wow!), we bought yarn (I know you’re shocked), we ate great meals (if you’re ever near Charleston, eat at Sette in Mount Pleasant, we visited an aquarium, we got lost more than once.  It was such a great time!

OK, probably need to elaborate on that last one.  Our GPS has software that’s a few years old (at least).  In the last few years, Charleston has built a new bridge and rerouted what seems to be most of its major roads.  This led to several occasions where the GPS started nagging us because we were not on an actual road by its reckoning.

4. The Outfit - per the Queen, it will be quite acceptable for the cruise.  Due to time constraints, I refrained from buying chocolate Kidsilk Haze for a shawl (I keep questioning that decision).  Mom’s working on matching jewelry now!

5. The Stash - has been greatly enhanced by above-mentioned trip - 3 skeins of Malabrigo worsted weight, 2 skeins of Trekking, 5 skeins of Cherry Tree Hill, and 2 skeins of Reynolds Soft Sea Wool.  I showed great restraint.

6. The Projects - I worked mostly on one pair of socks for one of my Girl Scouts on this trip, but I also started some Madtini socks with my Sweet Georgia yarn.  However - I think I need to rip out what I’ve done and redo it on size 2’s - now if I can just find them!!!

7. The Cruise - I leave in 17 days!  I need to start packing!

8. The Website - I had 73 visitors one day this week - I have no idea who they are or where they’re coming from.  Not to be a comment hog, but if you don’t mind, leave me one telling me who you are and how you got here.  Should prove to be interesting!
