In the last post I referred to the CTH sock yarn in “Earth” tones.  Well, Saturday the package arrived from Knit.  I opened it up, and had to laugh.  Very loudly.  Here’s why:

My original goal for this year was to knit 3 pair of socks per month - 1 for me, and 2 to give away.  Somewhere around March I realized this was probably insane, and backed it down to 2 per month, with at least 1 of those for someone else.  I just tallied up socks [...]

And yes, to my children, that is grammatically incorrect, but I invite you to visit here and travel back to my childhood with me and sing along!  And if only socks could knit up as quickly as the numbers add up in the song.
