Happy happy birthday today to my other best friend, my husband Mark.  The man who lets me whine, who says “let’s go out” when I’m too tired to cook, and he will keep me young forever (even though he’s a lot older than me, especially until my birthday next month).  He gives the best hugs.  And puts up with my yarn mess – even plans yarn expeditions for me!  He’s a great husband and an awesome dad.  He has been my longest best friend – for over 17 years now, and I love him with all my heart!  Best of all, he knows my favorite words – “Buy anything you want.”  Happy birthday Honey!

Grow old along with me – the best is yet to be.

Toe update for those who care – I’m guessing broken.  The purples are purplier and much bigger than yesterday.  The good news is that if I don’t touch it and don’t move it, it doesn’t hurt too much.  Thanks for all the good wishes!
